The article by Jean-Bernard Lafonta (Founder and Partner of Groupe HLD) in Les Echos reminds us just how essential the private equity sector is to the French economic dynamic. Private-equity players support (and share the risk with) entrepreneurs in charting the growth trajectories that are vital to our SMEs and ETIs, in particular by providing the resources and often the support and expertise required for their development.
