Nicolas Robin joins Groupe HLD as a partner

Groupe HLD is delighted to welcome Nicolas ROBIN, who joins the Group as a Partner, thereby strengthening the Group’s partnership (Jean-Bernard Lafonta, Cedric Chateau, Jean Hubert Vial, Cédric Boxberger, Salim Helou, Antoine Pineau and Marco Bernardi) at a time of strong momentum for HLD, which has completed several major transactions since the start of 2026: the acquisition of Entoria, France’s second-largest wholesale insurance broker; the partial sale of TSG, the European leader in multi-energy distribution solutions; and a new €300 million public bond issue rated ‘Investment Grade’. Since the creation of Five Arrows – the investment arm of the Rothschild & Co group – in 2008, alongside its two founders, Nicolas Robin has played an active role in its development by executing a number of transactions, particularly in the business services, software & data and industrial sectors, in Europe and the United States. Beyond his extensive experience in these sectors, he will bring his knowledge of the upper mid-cap private equity market and his expertise in transforming high-potential companies, a key strength of HLD.
